music makes or breaks a film. it sets the tone, the emotion, the rhythm. it can be loud on the foreground or subtly disappear on the side. for this episode, our special guest is Marlon Fuentes, DJ, immersive producer & World Music manager at the Recording Academy (aka the Grammies). Marlon walks us through his passion for good beats, discovering new talents, bringing music to the (big) picture. This episode juxtaposes two iconic movies - Natural Born Killers and City of Gods - and their soundtracks. A little teaser before our next episode (#103), which will explore music in film & cultural identity.
